Making peace

For the past 8 years I’ve on a journey of learning what it means to be emotional healthy. The first step for me was making peace with my past. I didn’t know I needed to make peace with my past until someone else pointed it out to me.

I couldn’t help but giggle when I searched the Googler for “making peace” looking for an image like this:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

And as a bonus, came across this:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

It took me a while to find out to whom I should attribute that quote but thanks to the Googler again and Snopes, I found the source attributed it a Cleveland, OH newspaper journalist:

The line, “Make peace with your past so you don’t screw up your present” comes from a list of 45 life lessons she shared in her article. I have more to say about Making Peace With Your Past, but this one statement pretty much sums it up with about 300 less words than I would have come up with.
